Man Down in Missouri
03:06
|
|
||
Hazard lights flash by the side of the bridge.
Going down tonight with a bang like dynamite.
He's as drunk as a sailor as high as a kite.
You'll never know, if he's coming back, home tonight.
This is about that man down in Missouri.
You'll never know his story.
Booze on the back seat he looks a straight.
Three shots of whisky and he'll drink 'em straight.
Now he's stuck in the cycle, like this forever.
But he couldn't care less or what so ever.

Poison
04:07
|
|

This creek is poison, leave us null and void. Like a bullet seek and destroy,
Flash flood feelings, from which you are wheeling. Now your kneeling a soul they're stealing.
Serotonin falling, this skin is crawling. Child of the rain, storm clouds will break again.
Nausea and shaking, this poison you're taking. Torrents leave you drained. This treatments not humane.
So we wash away the pain, with procedures that fry the brain. Slip through the holes and we fade away.
Fragile minds are slain, will your heart remain? Failing at the endgame, swim the current in vain.

Mortar Life Than War
03:27
|
|
||
Smoking towers fuelled by gasoline, you paint your walls red but like envy you're green.
Your acts are published on the news, the screen, but killing in cold blood it’s hard to come clean.
Nothing but witches and demons in the night
Lone wolves go hungry they bark and they bite
Caged like animals habitat or hell
Howling at the moon we’re under your spell
Mortars projected and weapons fired, need to defuse your mind and cut the wires
Martyr’s and the media are nothing but liars spreadin their words like wild fires.
They bark they bite hungry for a fight into the dark and out of light
just what you want, you’ll get Im sure there’s more More to life than war (repeat)

Special
03:30
|
|
||
You think you're special, you're nothing but a shell
Don't feel connection, but it's hidden so well
You think you're precious, a myth that's not dispelled
You call us devils, but it's you that drags us to hell
Like a ship on rough seas we sink.
Its all down to you.
Spread you greed like the latest disease.
It's all dust when you are through
Think you're essential you'll fade away with time
Decayed like petals you'll still ruin us with your crimes

Kat's Pause
03:41
|
|
||
No cheers not any more in the shadows she's adorned
all too human, all are flawed, unresistant to there claws
Tales slip through mouths like, sand between her hands
she wanted more in life, sold it on there demand
Belittled, battered, clothes are torn, crash and rise like waves on shore
she gave her heart they wanted more
The lights all to bright to brief all a fraud, she lost it all
Kat sank away then gave pause just wanted to be adored
So they cut scene now she's broken, and they've grown cold, left her to erode
Kat sank away, and then gave pause, just wanted to be adored
They stole her heart, only wanted more, they wanted more, more.

52
03:46

52 cards convene in the deck,
well aware they pack a punch and leave a mess,
your hands held the power to deal my fate,
now these hearts and diamonds only resemble hate.
52 cards 25 days, didn't take you long to change your ways.
You shuffle your lies and cut all ties, pretend to be strong but inside he dies
you're the joker in the pack, the card that no-one needs,
terminate these empty promises that grow with the weeds
she pauses for a second, hesitates, then concedes.
A little honesty is all he needs
memories fade and decay, word forever stuck on replay.
Despondent and disheartened like a ship without a sail.
Try my best to subsist this betrayal
